Val Thorens in France offers visitors the highest skiing experience in Europe at over 2,300m at its highest peak and is connected to The Three Valleys, or Les Trois Vallees, that with over 600km of piste is the largest ski area in the world. Avoriaz is a French resort close to the Swiss border that offers high altitude skiing with stunning views of the Alps.
